This application is awesome. If you are looking for a simple but powerful plotting program, take Plot. It's really easy to use, frequently updated and you can do more with it than you assume.

— Peng Wang, Research Gate Dear sir, I'd like to use PLplot which is given as a part of the Absoft distribution. I can see in the ../Absoft/example/PLPLOT/ that so far, the output devices supported in this version are: Mac1 - one color Macintosh window Mac8 - up to eight color Macintosh windows ps - Monochrome Post Script file psc - Color Post Script file NULL - the null device I'd like to use AquaTerm, which can be used as an output device for PLplot. I think it is possible (easy?...) to add Aquaterm as an output device for the 'original' PLplot distribution. How can I do that with the 'Absoft' distribution? Where are the files I should change? I'd rather not install PLplot from because I fear it interacts with what is already installed... Any help / advice would be welcome. Also: When I compile the examples given in ../Absoft/example/PLPLOT/examples/x0*f.f I have no trouble (in a terminal, using make), but when I try to build PLPLOT_MRWE this is what I get: > Scan completed > mkdir -p "./" > /Developer/Tools/SetFile -a b "./PLPLOT_MRWE" > c++ "/Applications/Absoft/lib/connect_mrwe_apple_clib.o" > "./build/x01f.o" "/Applications/Absoft/lib/libplplot.a" > -L"/Applications/Absoft/lib" -lmrwe -lf90math -lfio_carbon > -lf77math -framework Carbon -Xlinker -w -o > "./" > ld: Undefined symbols: > ___builtin_delete > Make: > *** Ignoring Error code 256 from c++ What am I missing here? Thank you very much, Manuel PS: I have Absoft Fortran for Mac Os X v8.0 (version 4.2.2 in the 'about' window). I use a G4 running Os X 1.2.2 Reviewed Item Core Plot is a 2D plotting library for iOS, Mac OS X, and tvOS.
